I guess we've run out of free days on the calendar for weird holidays. Because as of Jan 1, 2013, New Year's Day has had to scooch over and make room for the latest wacky national observance: "Stay at Home" Day. I guess there's some logic to it. After all the shopping, cooking, eating, gathering, wrapping and partying we've all been doing for the past two months, it makes sense to spend a day plopped down on the couch.
But we were going to do that anyway.
